Heather Barton

Heather is an osteopath & athletic therapist and assistant professor at the Collège d’ Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal whose
clientele ranges from her volunteer work with immigrant moms & babies to elite athletes and dancers. She’s the founder of the
Mile End Science club for kids, co-founder with Tinka Markham Piper of MEM, a resource group for self-employed mothers, and mother herself to two delightful pre-teens.

Tinka Markham Piper

Tinka Markham Piper is a chaos counselor and founder of Solve My Space. Through her organizing and redesigning work, she is committed to making good design accessible by re-thinking, rejuvenating and recreating spaces, one room at a time. Tinka graduated from Princeton University, and earned her both her Master’s Degree in Social Work and Master’s Degree in Public Health from Columbia University. She lives in Montreal with her husband and 2 children and can be found all over the city, happily problem-solving homes.

These two women created a village of women entrepreneurs in montreal who are also mothers that I’ve been grateful to be a part of.

In this episode: We talked entrepreneurship, womanhood, motherhood, spiritual, emotional, physical and mental self-care, and all the stuff it takes to navigate through to nurturing self, family and business.

We laughed a lot, had fun and experienced a meaningful uplifting conversation. Enjoy.

I finally had a moment to listen to this, wow, you three are amazing! I feel so blessed to learn from you every month. And even though I do get to see you every month, this conversation was so inspiring on an even deeper level. I took so many notes!

Love to all three of you. Thank you so much for sharing yourselves and wisdom here.

Amelia. Thank you for listening, commenting and your generous words. Spoken from a pretty amazing woman, designer and mother herself. xo
