Mentor Coaching

Are you ready to obtain or renew your coaching credential (ACC or PCC) with the ICF?

I am a Professional Certified Life Coach, PCC  with 15  years of experience in the field.  I am a trained ICF Certified Mentor Coach (since 2016) and completed the comprehensive ICF PCC Marker Accessor training course. I love mentoring individuals seeking to renew or obtain their credential (ACC/PCC) from the International Coaching Federation. I also serve as a facilitator and coach educator on faculty at schools internationally, supporting individuals in becoming credential coaches and renewing their credential.

I love working with mentees to support and partner with them in developing their coaching skills and practice while highlighting their strengths and unique style as a coach. My style as a mentor coach is calm, intuitive, motivating and compassionate and is deeply relational and ethically and competency-focused. You, the mentee, are welcomed into a safe and inspiring learning space to grow your practice, skills and awareness as a coach and enjoy and feel the success and fulfillment of your development and learning. I look forward to supporting you in this enriching and rewarding experience.

I felt that I was being mentored by the best.  I learned to ask one question at a time, refine my language, relax as I listen, trust my intuition, and accept my empathetic nature and so much more. “
“You always maintained a coaching position in relationship to my self-inquiry and by observing you, I learned a lot regarding how I can do this myself. The methods you used to mentor, mirrored what a coaching session should look like so I was experiencing what I was meant to be doing, and learning from being in the experience, rather than you telling me or teaching me, what needs to be done. I could see the effect your coaching and mentoring was having on me and how it was changing how I was coming into my sessions with my clients, and it reinforced my desire to continue on this path and gave me the confidence to persevere. You were always available and I felt like you really cared. I felt that you really believed in me. ” Sari, ACC COACH

 What is Mentor Coaching?

Mentor coaching involves coaching coaches who are looking to obtain a coaching certification or are looking to renew their credential with the International Coaching Federation.

The ICF defines it as such…

A Mentor Coach, provides feedback and assessment based on the ICF Core Competencies. For the purposes of the ICF Credentialing process, Mentor Coaching is defined as providing professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency demanded by the ICF Credential level sought by the coach-applicant.

Lectures and classroom activities are only part of the learning equation. The ICF believes that, in order to be effective, initial coach training and continuing professional education should include opportunities for individual practice, reflection and learning with the support of a skilled observer providing feedback. This is the role of the Mentor Coach.
