It takes a village. Doesn\u2019t it ? At least I can say that from my own experience being a mom of two young boys \u00a0(oh the humbling nature of this experience ) and therefore I belong to the evidence over time that shows us this is the case in fact.<\/p>\n

Through conversations with guests experts on my podcast series #motherhood #letscreateAvillage<\/a> you can tune in to perspectives and insight into supporting your mental emotional spiritual and physical journey through motherhood. It is your voice and story that enrich the conversation so join us in the chat room with your comments and questions.<\/p>\n

We have an incredible line up of best selling authors , psychologists , scientists and heart centred leaders joining the conversation each week to inspire , support & celebrate this journey and human experience.<\/p>\n

Do you have a village of support ? A community on hand to reach out to ? Sometimes just recognizing what our needs are enables us to realize we can\u2019t do it alone, though we may want to, and we need to look outside ourself for support. That merely is enough to start reaching out.<\/p>\n

There are areas I am accustomed to gaining support for and other areas I\u2019m not. Just last night I communed with a group of women friends who are mothers and business owners. We meet once a month. It was just what I needed to refuel my energy. Though I could have justified staying in to wind down early, this gathering with my village increased my energy level, mood and as science suggests benefited my emotional and physical health. As the wise and wonderful Dr. Christiane Northrup<\/a> says “community equals immunity”. Moving from me to we. Connecting, gathering, giving, receiving. There is so much to be said about enriching our social connections and being a part of something that forms the \u2018we\u2019 in our lives.<\/p>\n

I am grateful when I find a village that feels supportive and aligned. And actually the two fantastic women who started this village of women entrepreneurs and mothers here in Montreal will be my first two guests to kick off 2018 Tinka Markham Piper<\/a>\u00a0 Chaos Counselor and founder of Solve my Space and Osteopath and Athletic Therapist Heather Barton<\/a>.
